Accessible mental health support for kids
Funded by the Federal Government and the Western Australian Mental Health Commission, The Kids Hub is a free, early intervention mental health support service for infants and children under 12, within the City of Swan catchment area.
We provide mental health and well-being services for infants and children experiencing mild to moderate developmental, behavioural, emotional, or mental health challenges.
Children will not need a referral, diagnosis, Medicare card or appointment to receive support; however an informal referral will help our Care Navigators expediate triage, assessment, and care planning.
The service aims to:
- provide early intervention support to improve children’s mental health and well-being
- support families to access services that address their child’s mental health challenges
- provide short to medium term treatment for emotional, behavioural, or developmental issues
- work with other service providers including health, education, social services, and the community
The Kids Hub is also connected to local City of Swan children’s mental health providers (and associated service providers).
